Sundance Sailfish - Meet Details for 06.03.2023

    HELLO SAILFISH!!!

WHO IS READY TO SWIM FAST?

Our first competitive meet of the season is tomorrow. All the details you need are below or are in the attached documents. Please take a look!

HERITAGE GREENS MEET TOMORROW,  SATURDAY, JUNE 3

    • The Heritage Greens pool is located at 4814 E Links Circle, Centennial CO 80122.
    • The the heat sheet for this meet is attached. You can also access the information for  your swimmers on the Swimtopia app.
    • Your team tent and family tents can be set up outside the pool area in the grass adjacent to the parking lot.
    • There is ample street parking around the pool, we ask that families be courteous and avoid blocking driveways.
    • For each event your swimmer is swimming, we need you to write EVENT - HEAT - LANE on their arm. This helps keep our heating crew happy and organized. Please read the attached “What to Expect…” document for more details and a picture.
    • WEATHER - We’re expecting a chilly, wet day tomorrow, so please dress appropriately. We MAY consider cancelling or postponing a meet if the temperature is below 55 degrees. We WILL cancel or postpone if there is thunder and lightening in the area. We HAVE held meets in the snow and driving rain in the past. What’s a little more water in addition to what’s already in the pool?  The temp should be okay tomorrow. Dress warm, bring dry layers, blankets, and tents. In the event of a weather cancellation or postponement, we will send an email and make an announcement at the meet. Consider NO NEWS as GOOD NEWS.
    • A note about POSITIVE behavior. Please help us uphold our team’s reputation as one of the most positive and supportive teams in the league. We cheer on ALL swimmers. We shake hands with each other after races. We celebrate when we have succeeded, but do so with a kind heart and supportive spirit. Please note that according to league rules ONLY the parent representatives may petition for the reconsideration of a finishing time or call of stroke judge. Swimmers, Coaches, and Parents who do so may be expelled from a meet. Paul and Amy will be around for the entire meet tomorrow. Please come see either of us if you have any concerns and we will take them to the appropriate person.
