“BYOP to the P” — TONIGHT, JUNE 23
We'd like to invite swim families to meet us at the pool for our attempt at bringing back an old Sundance pre-meet tradition - Bring Your Own Pasta to the Pool — “BYOP to the P.” Bring your family to the pool with your own pasta dinner to carb load and get fired up for the Saturday meet. This is informal - come at your own dinner time, bring your own dinner, and plan on hanging out while we’re splish-splashing and slurping up spaghetti. The idea is that we're all there, eating our own pasta, meeting new and old Sailfish families, and hanging out at the best pool around. Hope to see you there!
AWAY MEET TOMORROW AGAINST CHERRY CREEK VISTA
In the storied annals of athletic rivalries, we have Frazier and Ali; Yankees and Red Sox; Ohio State and Michigan (GO BUCKS!!!); Venus and Serena; and many others. Add to all those SUNDANCE HILLS SAILFISH and CHERRY CREEK VISTA VIKINGS. We will bring our best team spirit to the big meet tomorrow at CCV. Here are the details you need:
- The the heat sheet for this meet is attached. You can also access the information for your swimmers on the Swimtopia app.
- Pool Address: 11350 E. Orchard Road, Englewood, CO 80111.
- You can use the pool parking lot as well as the elementary school parking lot and street parking.
- We will set up our tents, etc., in the big field to the south of the pool. The gate will be open for easy access.
- Warm up time is: 7:15 - 7:45 am.
- Scratch Meeting at 7:25 am.
- Timing Meeting and Stroke Judge Meeting is at 7:40 am at the officials tent.
- We ask that all timers and stroke judges for all shifts come to the morning meeting to make transitions easier during shift changes
- We will start heating relays at 7:50 am before the national anthem.
- CCV will do volunteer shift changes at 8:00, 10:00, & 12:00.
- CCV Concessions will accept cash and venmo (@CCVVikings).
