    🤘 END-OF-SEASON BANQUET TICKETS 🤘

🚨🚨🚨 Only FOUR more days to purchase your banquet tickets. We need to get our counts for food orders submitted, so this Sunday, July 9, is your last day to purchase these tickets. 🚨🚨🚨

Are you ready for a SAILFISH INVASION?

End of Season Sailfish Banquet | Saturday, July 15, 2023, 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm.

To close our season, we are planning to ROCK THE NIGHT AWAY at our annual end-of-season banquet. We'll be offering a buffet dinner and gourmet dipped gelato pops for dessert. We’ll also have the chance to GET OUR GROOVE ON. Purchase your tickets by Sunday, July 9. (Go to our website and login. Click on “Online Store.”)

    Meal Tickets: $20 Adults & Children (Ages 13+) $15 Children (Ages 3-12).

🤘 This is going to be one rockin’ evening you won’t want to miss. 🤘

*Note to veteran Sailfish families: In the past, we sold banquet tickets at registration. We didn’t do that this year. So, if you haven’t purchased your banquet tickets in the last two weeks, you don’t have tickets to the banquet. Go get them on our website!

    COACHES’ GIFTS

At the end of each season, we collect cash gifts for our coaches. We’ll distribute them at our end-of-season banquet. If you would like to contribute, you can contribute on our website. (Go to the website, log in, and choose “Online Store.” You will see the Coaches’ Gifts available there. Please note that you can select more than one denomination and more than one of any listed denomination to add up to the total amount you want to contribute.) These gifts, though totally optional, are greatly appreciated by our hard-working coaches and volunteer coaches.

    HELPING SWIMMERS UNDERSTAND DQs

Due to some changes in league rules, we’ve seen an uptick in the number of swimmers disqualified during their races. This isn’t unique to our team — it’s happening across the league. Before we head to our last meet and into prelims, we encourage you to take a minute speak with your swimmer(s) to help them understand what it means to be disqualified and how to avoid it. Coach Avery put together a handy list of the most common DQs that we see at meets. (Attached.) If you have additional questions, please speak with Coach Avery or your swimmer’s coach.

That’s it for this edition of the Sailfish SCOOP.

Life is better when you are swimming!
