We have a busy weekend coming up. Here are all the details you need…

HOME MEET TOMORROW AGAINST STONEGATE

Our final regular season meet is at home tomorrow, against the Stonegate Stingrays. Stonegate is the largest team in the league. Nevertheless, expect to see some super fast Sailfish showing that what we lack in size we more than make up for in spirit, camaraderie, good sportsmanship. We will bring our A-game tomorrow and get the job done. Here are the details you need for the big meet.

• Schedule
  • 6:30 am — Pool opens
  • 6:45-7:15 — Sundance warm-up
  • 7:15-7:45 — Stonegate warm-up
  • 7:30 am — Scratch meeting (behind the diving blocks)
  • 7:30 am — Stroke Judge and Starter/Ref meeting at starter post **All Shifts attend**
  • 7:40 am — Timers meeting — **ALL TIMERS MUST ATTEND** at starter post
  • 7:45 am — Mark your swimmer's arms for their races
  • 7:50 am — Welcome, team cheer, and start heating through Event 12/Relays
  • 7:55 am — National Anthem
  • 8:00 am — First event begins!
• Parking is available in our lot and along the streets; please be mindful of driveways.
• We will have plenty of breakfast and lunch fare available at our concession stand. Cash & Venmo are accepted — @SH_Sailfish

PRELIMS INFORMATION AND HEAT SHEETS

RMSL is not generating heat sheets for next week’s prelim meets until after tomorrow’s meet. We will do our best to get these heat sheets and other prelim meet information to you on Sunday morning, provided that we have the heat sheets by that time.

PIRATE’S COVE - THIS SUNDAY, JULY 9

IN JUST TWO DAYS!!! Wahoo!!! Please remember that we’ve rescheduled our Pirate’s Cove outing for Sunday, July 9, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Be sure to come!!! Sailfish Swimmers and their immediate family members are welcome. You DO NOT want to miss a few laps around the Lazy River with your favorite Parent Reps!!! Pirate’s Cove may have some limited concessions available, but our advice is to bring your own drinks and snacks. **No glass containers permitted.**

End of Season Sailfish Banquet | Saturday, July 15, 2023, 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm.

To close our season, we are planning to ROCK THE NIGHT AWAY at our annual end-of-season banquet. We'll be offering a buffet dinner and gourmet dipped gelato pops for dessert. We’ll also have the chance to GET OUR GROOVE ON. Purchase your tickets by Sunday, July 9. (Go to our website and login. Click on “Online Store.”)

Meal Tickets: $20 Adults & Children (Ages 13+) $15 Children (Ages 3-12).

*Note to veteran Sailfish families: In the past, we sold banquet tickets at registration. We didn’t do that this year. So, if you haven’t purchased your banquet tickets in the last two weeks, you don’t have tickets to the banquet. Go get them on our website!
