HELLO SAILFISH FAMILY - 

Happy Saturday to all of you! I hope you enjoyed today’s meet as much as I did. (Not the early stop for lightening, though. BOO. Next time that happens, though, I’ll ask our annnouncer/dj to put on some Van Hail-en.) Our Sailfish Swimmers did us proud, that’s for certain. Even more so, our community shone bright as we played host to Willow Creek 2 and Homestead Farms. Thanks go each and every coach, parent, swimmer, family member, and friend in attendance for being great hosts and good-spirited competitors to our guests!

Now, to get to business, here’s your SCOOP for today:

SUPER SWIMMERS

I'd like to extend my gratitude to all the parents, coaches, and spectators for their contributions in nominating the Super Swimmers over the past week. Super Swimmers will receive their recognition treat in the ribbon folders.

Throughout the week, we've witnessed remarkable feats: from the ever-smiling swimmers who consistently give their all, to those diving into their first meets, (Woohoo!), and others bravely tackling new events. We've cheered on swimmers competing in higher age groups, achieving personal bests, delivering thrilling nail-biter finishes, and starting our meets off beautifully with the national anthem.

Please continue to keep an eye out for any Super Swimmers this week! Your nominations are greatly appreciated, and kindly submit them by Wednesday of each week by sending me an email.

EVENING PRACTICE SIGN-UP - JUNE 10 & 12

Here is the SIGN UP for evening practices on June 10 and 12, 5:30-6:30 pm.

You must sign up in advance if you wish to attend these practices because we only have space for 18 swimmers. If you practice in the morning, you do not need to attend evening practices. Mudskippers may not attend evening practices.

We will use 3 lanes for this practice and the Sundance Pool will remain open for families and other swimmers. Come watch your kid practices and then dinner at the pool when you’re finished.

MUDSKIPPER PARENT MEET-AND-GREET

Are you a Mudskipper Parent? If so, we’d like to invite you to a Mudskipper Parent Meet-and-Greet on Monday, June 17, during all Mudskipper practice times. The Sailfish put a priority on community-building, and we want to be sure that the parents of the newest members of our swim team get a proper introduction. We’ll have coffee and a few goodies for you to enjoy while you take a moment to introduce yourself to your kids’ newest best friends’ parents! Please join us!

SWIMMING UNDER THE STARS - PLEASE RSVP

Save-the-date for Wednesday, June 26 from 5:30-9:00 PM because we're gearing up for some MAJOR fun for all our swimmers (Mudskippers included!) and their families. Our annual Swimming Under the Stars is almost here! Enjoy a Team Potluck and (back by popular demand) Cookie Bake-Off followed by some well-deserved splash-about fun for swimmers and their coaches. Good food, friendly competition, team building, prizes and, of course, the best summer memories Sundance has to offer. Need we say more? RSVP TODAY!

Good work Big and Little Fish cheering on your Fish Families. We hope you keep spending time at our Spirit Table on Fridays during practices, and on Saturdays at the meet. We will continue to have special items you can make for your Fish Families
