HELLO SAILFISH FAMILY!!!

Happy Sunday evening to all you cool cats… 

Congratulations to all our Sailfish swimmers for a great job at our meet yesterday against the Fish. As Coach Lyndsay wrote to you all, we swam our hearts out, and that shows in how our swimmers performed in the pool. What always makes my heart soar, however, is to see our swimmers and our families represent our community with kindness and the pursuit of a good competition. Winning is icing on the cake! 🍰

Onward to this evening’s SCOOP…

DECLARE FOR NEXT SATURDAY’S MEET:

DEADLINE TOMORROW AT 4:00 PM

This coming Saturday, we will be hosting a tri-meet against the Homestead Farm Tarpons and the Homestead Farm II Barracudas. (Better mascots than our last meet, no?) My prediction is that the Sailfish will do well.

🚨Please remember to declare your swimmers by 4 pm tomorrow, Monday, June 9. 🚨

If you forget how to declare your swimmers, look HERE. 

Because this meet is a tri-meet, we will have many more swimmers than our first two meets this season. Please do expect that this meet will go later than 1:00 pm. Bring your knitting (or a good book) and extra sunscreen.

SUPER SWIMMER NOMINATIONS

It’s time for your weekly reminder to nominate a Super Swimmer! 

Help us recognize any of our amazing swimmers—including our Mudskippers—who’ve reached a meaningful milestone this week, big or small. Whether it’s a personal best, a moment of resilience, or a great attitude, we want to celebrate it! 

Each nominee will receive a certificate and a fun treat in the ribbon box—so don’t miss the chance to give one of our amazing swimmers a well-deserved shoutout!

MONDAY FUNDAY PICTURE DAY

Swim Team Picture Day is just around the corner! It will be held on Monday, June 16th, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Sign up HERE for a time.

We kindly ask that families sign up for a time either before or after their swimmer's practice. We understand, however, that some families may need to schedule their photos at other times to accommodate summer camps.

Please don't forget: All swimmers need to wear their team shirt for the team photo.

As a reminder, here are the practice times: 

• 6 & Under swimmers: 8:00am – 8:45am 
• 7–8 swimmers: 7:30am – 8:15am 
• 9–10 swimmers: 8:15am – 9:15am 
• 11–12 swimmers: 9:45am – 10:45am 
• 13–18 swimmers: 9:15am – 10:15am 
• Mudskippers: 8:45am – 9:15am Group 1; 9:15am – 9:45am Group 2
