HELLO SAILFISH FAMILY!!!
Coming at you a bit early today to bring you the SCOOP for the week. Great effort by our swimmers against CCV yesterday! Although we didn’t win the meet, we established a couple new team and pool records!! Our Sailfish swimmers put their heart into their swims, that’s for certain!
We have a lot of new news today, so let’s get going!
DECLARE YOUR SWIMMERS FOR STONEGATE-
DEADLINE TOMORROW AT 4:00 PM
The Sailfish take on the Stonegate Stingrays next Saturday at Stonegate. This will be a FIN-tastic meet, for sure!

EVENING PRACTICE & STROKE CLINIC SIGN-UP
(All times are 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm)
- Monday, June 23 - EVENING PRACTICE (Lots of space still available!)
- Tuesday, June 24 - STROKE CLINIC (Butterfly and / or Breaststroke; Space still available!)
- Wednesday, June 25 - EVENING PRACTICE (Lots of space still available!)
- Thursday, June 26 - STROKE CLINIC (Turns / Walls; Space still available!)
- Monday, June 30 - EVENING PRACTICE
- Tuesday, July 1 - STROKE CLINIC (Starts)
- Wednesday, July 2 - EVENING PRACTICE
- Thursday, July 3 - NO STROKE CLINIC due to July 4 festivities.
Two quick reminders:
- Evening practices are intended for swimmers who are unable to attend morning practices. Two practices each week are required to swim in that week’s meet, generally speaking.
- Stroke clinics are for all swimmers and focus on a specific stroke or skill. These are “extra” practices, but can also count as the “required” practices for the week, if needed. The cost for stroke clinics is $5, payable directly to the coach who leads the stroke clinic. Please be sure to pay the coach before the clinic starts!
Join us for our annual Swim-A-Thon supporting BAGS OF FUN, which delivers backpacks filled with toys, therapeutic items, and mental health resources to Colorado kids fighting cancer, mental illness, and other serious conditions. Founded in memory of Gabby Krause, a beloved Sundance swimmer, Bags of Fun brings joy and comfort during hospital stays. Swimmers raise donations by setting lap goals or flat pledges. Let’s aim for 100% participation — Mudskippers too! Parents, come cheer your swimmers on for this special morning of kids helping kids.

It’s time for your weekly reminder to nominate a Super Swimmer!
Help us recognize any of our amazing swimmers—including our Mudskippers—who’ve reached a meaningful milestone this week, big or small.
Whether it’s a personal best, a moment of resilience, or a great attitude, we want to celebrate it! Each nominee will receive a certificate and a fun treat in the ribbon box—so don’t miss the chance to give one of our amazing swimmers a well-deserved shoutout!

THREE HOME MEETS IN A ROW - THAT’S A WRAP!!!
Sending out a HUGE "Thank You" to the volunteers, swimmers and fans in our amazing Sailfish community. We all came together to pull off not one, not two, but THREE very successful, friendly, safe, organized and well-run home meets in a row. We did it, no sweat!
Speaking of no sweat...can we all give a collective air high-five to our Concessions Team for going above and beyond!? From hydration stations to slinging popsicles around the pool and installing that incredible, resort-worthy misting system, you kept us cool, calm and collected on the hottest day of the year. If you see Andrea Blackwelder, James Harvey, Allison Krebs or Jeff Krebs on the pool deck, please be sure to say THANK YOU!!! 😎
